those currently working in retail roles who wish to gain a formal qualification.
- If you do not hold a Year 10 Certificate or equivalent, you will be required to
undertake an LLN assessment before commencing the course. This
assessment helps us ensure you have the necessary skills to succeed in your
studies.
Technical Requirements:
- As this course may involve online learning components, access to a reliable
internet connection and a computer with basic software (word processing,
spreadsheets, etc.) is essential.
- A camera, microphone, and headset may be required for online classes or
virtual meetings.
- While NTO provides tablets for use during all face-to-face classes, access to a
personal computer or laptop and a reliable internet connection is highly
recommended for completing assignments, accessing online learning
materials, and engaging in online learning activities outside of class.

Fees and Payment Information
At NTO, we are committed to ensuring the financial protection and transparency of
all students and corporate clients in line with Australian regulations. Below, you

Fee Information:
- Course Fee: $5,600
- The total fee for SIR30216 Certificate III in Retail the is $5,600.
- Payment terms: You may choose to pay upfront or according to a payment
plan.
- Deposit and Prepaid Fees
- In accordance with our policy, NTO will not accept more than $1,500 in
prepaid fees prior to course commencement. If the total course fee exceeds
$1,500, you will be required to pay a deposit of no more than $1,500 before
the course begins, with the remaining balance payable as per your agreed
payment plan.
- Payment Plans
- For your convenience, we offer flexible payment options:
- Pay in full at the time of enrolment.
- Payment plan: After paying the initial deposit, the remaining fees can be
paid in installments before the course is completed. You can discuss and
arrange your payment plan with our administration team.
- Buy Now, Pay Later (BNP
- We also offer Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) options for short courses
checkout. If you prefer this payment method for your course, please ensure
that you contact our administration team to arrange a payment plan.
- Invoice Payments
- For corporate clients or students who prefer to pay via invoice, NTO will issue
an invoice for the course fee. Payments are due as per the terms outlined on
the invoice, and a payment plan can be discussed with our administration
team if needed.
Learner Rights and Refunds:
- Cooling-off Period: You have the right to a statutory cooling-off period if one
applies to your enrolment. NTO will provide you with information about your
rights as a consumer prior to enrolment, including your right to a full refund for
services not provided under the terms of your agreement.
- Refunds: If the arrangement is terminated early or NTO fails to provide the
agreed services, you are entitled to a refund for any fees paid for services not
rendered. This includes any unutilised portion of course fees.
- Refund Conditions: Refund requests can be made in writing, and NTO will
respond to requests promptly and in accordance with our refund policy.
Credit Transfer and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
NTO recognises that students may acquire vocational skills from a variety of
different sources, other than formal training. These skills are valid, irrespective of
how they were acquired.
If you have previously completed similar training or have work experience in the
field, you may be eligible for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or Cred
Transfer. This process allows you to receive credit for your prior qualifications,
competencies, and experience, reducing the need for repetition of learning.
RPL Process:
- Step 1: Request RPL for partial or full qualification
- Step 2: The Compliance Manager will provide the RPL Assessment Kit to you
- Step 3: Review the RPL process, units of competency for RPL, and require
evidence to submit.
- Step 4: Trainer interview to assess your experience and qualifications
- Step 5: If required, practical assessments will be conducted
- Step 6: The cost of any necessary gap training will be provided
- Step 7: If applicable, complete gap training and pay associated fees
- Step 8: Once you demonstrate competence, a Statement of Attainment o
Qualification will be issued.
