Applying for a course as a domestic student
At NTO, we are committed to providing accessible education to a diverse range of students.
You must hold Australian citizenship, including dual citizenship.
You are eligible if you are a New Zealand citizen residing in Australia.
You must have permanent residency with quality as a domestic student.
If you have been granted a permanent humanitarian visa by the Australian government, you are eligible for domestic student status.

To maintain your domestic student status, you need to reside in Australia for the duration of your studies at NTO. This ensures you can fully participate in your course and take advantage of the resources we offer.
A Unique Student Identifier (USI) is mandatory for all students in Australia. This number helps track your training achievements and is crucial for enrolment at NTO. If you don’t have one yet, you can easily apply online.
Certain visa holders may also qualify as domestic students under specific conditions. If you’re unsure about your eligibility, our team is here to assist.
