National Training Organisation (NTO) is committed to protecting the privacy of its clients, students, staff, and stakeholders. As Registered Training Organisation (RTO), we collect and manage personal information to deliver vocational education and training (VET) services, including Smart and Skilled funded programs, Apprenticeships and Traineeships, and employer-sponsored training.

  • Staff and contractors of NTO.

  • Education and training history: Third parties who interact with NTO in the provision of training and educational services.
  • Health information: Only where relevant to accommodate specific learning needs (collected in compliance with the Health Records and Information Privacy Act 2002 (NSW)).

We do not collect sensitive information (e.g., ethnicity, religious beliefs) unless required by law or necessary for your training.

How NCVER and Other Bodies Handle Your Information

NCVER collects, holds, uses, and discloses your personal information for purposes including:>

  • Issuing VET statements of attainment and qualifications.
  • Facilitating statistics and research relating to education.
  • Administering VET programs and policies.

  • NSW Department of Education may use your information for evaluating and assessing subsidised training under Smart and Skilled.

Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. Measures include:

Credit card information is encrypted and only stored for the duration necessary to complete the transaction.
