TLI31616 Certificate III in Warehousing Operations

Course Description   

This is a general qualification for the Warehousing and Storage Industry.

It involves a defined range of skilled operations, usually within a range of broader related activities involving known routines, methods and procedures, with some discretion and judgement in selecting equipment, services or contingency measures and within known time constraints.

Job Roles

Possible job outcomes for graduates include Receiving officer, Dispatch officer, Store person and Packer.

Course requirements

This course requires students to complete 3 core and 16 elective units in total of 19 units..

Sufficient language, literacy and numeracy skills required to complete the course.

TLI41816 - Certificate IV in Warehousing Operations

Course Description   

This is a general qualification for the Warehousing and Storage Industry.

It involves a broad range of skilled applications including requirements to evaluate and analyse current practices, to develop new criteria and procedures for performing current practices, and to provide leadership and guidance to others in applying skills and planning skill development.

No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.        

Job description   

As team leaders, employees arrange work flow for receipt and despatch of goods; monitor stock levels and undertake stock counts; ensure warehouse is well organised and WH&S compliant and; provide reports for management.

Course requirements   

Students must complete 21 units which include 3 core units and 18 elective units.

OOn successful completion you will receive a Nationally Recognised Qualification in TLI41816 Certificate IV in Warehousing Operations.


TLI31216 - Certificate III in Driving Operations

Course Description

This is a qualification for those engaged in driving operation job roles within the Transport and Logistics Industry.

It involves a defined range of skilled operations, usually within a range of broader related activities involving known routines, methods and procedures, with some discretion and judgement in selecting equipment, services or contingency measures and within known time constraints.

Job roles and titles vary across different sectors. Possible job titles relevant to this qualification include:

  • Line Haul Driver
  • Local Heavy General Freight Driver
  • Interstate Driver
  • Bus Driver
  • Tip Truck Driver

Course requirements

This course requires a total of 18 units of competency comprising:

A total of 18 units of competency  comprising 

6 core units  listed below plus 

1 licensing/industry elective unit  relevant to the vehicle type applicable to the job role from the licensing/industry elective units listed below plus 

All units  within one of the specialist elective groups  (job roles) from Group A, Group B, Group C, Group D, Group E, Group F, Group G, Group H, Group I, Group K, Group L, or Group M listed below plus 

4 general elective units  from the general elective units listed below if selecting Group B, Group K (depending on job role), Group M or 

5 general elective units  from the general elective units listed below if selecting Group K (depending on job role), Group L, or 

6 general elective units  from the general elective units listed below if selecting Group A, Group C, Group D, Group E, Group F, Group G, Group H or Group I.

Up to 3 of the general elective units  may be selected from any relevant nationally endorsed Training Package or accredited course. The units must contribute to the vocational outcomes of the qualification.

TLI32416 - Certificate III in Logistics

Course Description

This is a qualification for those engaged in logistics operations within the Transport and Logistics Industry.

It involves a defined range of skilled operations, usually within a range of broader related activities involving known routines, methods and procedures, where some discretion and judgement is required in selecting equipment, services or contingency measures within known time constraints. It may also include responsibility for coordinating the work of others.

Successful achievement of the licensing units within the qualification must align with applicable licensing and regulatory requirements.

  • Logistics Administration Officer
  • Logistics Service Clerk

Course requirements

To successfully complete this course candidate must complete 2 core units, 6 technical units and 5 elective units.
